All matches were back at the home of Netball NSW, Netball Central last night for Round 6 of the Origin Energy Premier League.

In the Under 23s, Hawks took the lead in the first half of the game against the Panthers. A huge effort from Panthers in the third quarter saw them double ERNA’s goals, ultimately leading them to their win. United and Fury, what a battle. A tight contest, United lead by one at half time tacking on a few extra in the second half to secure their win. Stingrays and Sapphires also came away with wins this week and UTS Randwick Sparks remain undefeated in the U23s Origin Energy Premier League Competition.

Tough matches in the Opens round last night. Stingrays and Blaze, each with a phenomenal half of Netball. Although Stingrays dominated the back half of the game, Blaze manage to hang on and take the win. United started out the game against Fury with a strong first quarter and backed it up in the third. Fury tried for a comeback in the fourth and final quarter, however it was just too late. North Shore United with their win take first place on the Opens ladder. Sapphires knocked Heart down a peg or two with their impressive win last night. An intense battle with the last quarters on even scores, definitely a game to watch on the replay. Sparks and Hawks also put away another win under their belts last night.
